My body is angry today. This week’s transition back to work and a healthy schedule was near impossible. I had way too much junk and did next to no exercise.
I was planning on setting weekly goals for myself to stay on track, and this week proved that without outlined expectations, I slack off.
My current balance is very healthy one week, very unhealthy the next week. I can hardly call that a balance. I need to find a happy medium and with my newly acquired gym membership this is the perfect time. I am so sore today from yesterday’s workout but in a good way. I can’t wait to go back.
Week 1 Goals:
- Finish my resume
- Find 1 free thing to do
- Cook all my meals- no restaurants (on weeknights)
- Try yoga again and give it a chance
- Go to the gym 3 times
It doesn’t sound like much, but i figured I would start slow and go from there. With 3 different jobs, I have very little free time and even less motivation by the end of the day. Oh how I miss vacation.
I really want to keep Free Fun in the rotation! This week I did so many things I normally wouldn’t have simply because they were free.
In order for my goals to be successful this week we need to do some serious grocery shopping. We currently have no bread, milk, eggs, yogurt, chicken or k-cups. These are our food staples and pretty essential to every recipe ever haha. Luckily we are attending a birthday cookout at Nolan’s family’s house tonight! One less meal to worry about. 🙂
