Today is a very special day… Nolan’s 27th birthday!!! I’m not sure how we will be celebrating, but I’m sure great food will be involved. Happy birthday love. You’re my favorite. 🙂
I took quite a vacation for myself this month! I have been off since the 18th and I have enjoyed and savored every minute of my time off. We started off with an amazing trip to New Orleans, which could not have been more fun. I ended it by relaxing, and enjoying some quality time alone and with my husband. Typically over April vacation I catch up with friends I haven’t seen in a while, do lots of spring cleaning and shopping, and I’m overly very productive. Not this time. I decide to be selfish and take time for myself and my family. Even though I am a bit behind in work and blogging and some of my friends are a bit pissed off at my absence, I have no regrets. Here are some snapshots from my vaca!
Trip to Louisiana!
Lot’s of Bruins and family time!
Celebrated our niece’s 1st birthday!
Today is bittersweet. I have to go back to work, but it will be great to get back into a routine. As a teacher, we are heading into the home stretch and we only have something like 40 days left in the school year. The end is in site! I will be very sad to see this year end but being home all week has given me a taste of summer vacation and it can’t come fast enough! Alright I got to go. Can’t be late on my first day back. Have a great one, and keep an eye out for my Louisiana recap post. 🙂
