Hey everyone. Now that May is over, I wanted to give everyone a look inside the May Tasterie Boxes that I put together. As you know Tasterie is the food allergy subscription box company I help run in my spare time. NBD! Just a reminder, we have 4 boxes available: Gluten Free, Nut Free, Gluten & Dairy Free, and Top 8 Free which includes peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, soy, egg, fish, and shellfish. Each month you will receive a specialized box packed with snacks, meals and delicious ingredients to try!
With Memorial Day being the unofficial start of summer here in New England, I wanted our boxes to scream summer and cookout! Take a look at the insert I designed. (I am seriously getting better at this creativity thing! 🙂 )
Here are some of the highlighted products that I got for this month:Dandies Marshmallows- gluten free, dairy free, nut free, Kinnikinnick S’morable graham crackers- gluten free and nut free Cheecha Puffs- top 8 Enjoy Life granola bars- top 8

Top 8 Box
To me, summer means camping so I wanted to incorporate those flavors like bbq sauce, hot dogs with mustard, and of course s’mores! It’s really hard to find graham crackers that are free of most allergens so this month I went through two different companies. Schar is a very well known company, well respected for their gluten free products and breads. Unfortunately they are not a nut free facility so I was able to work with Kinnikinnick and get their nut free S’morables into the boxes too which I was very excited about! And of course I had to go with Dandies Marshmallows. They are AWESOME and free of nuts, gluten and dairy. They do contain soy so they cannot go into our top 8 box.
When it comes to a great top 8 bbq sauce I looked no further than Bone Suckin’ Sauce! Not only does it taste great but it’s made in a facility completely free of gluten, dairy, soy, wheat, nuts, and tree nuts which is exactly what I look for in a good allergen free food company. They were nice enough to send me 4 oz jars of their signature sauce AND their most popular mustard. 🙂
This month we also featured the Smart Allergy Food Labels to celebrate food allergy awareness week. These stickers are used to label foods and let everyone know which foods are safe for each person at home. 🙂
I am so happy with the way these boxes turned out and even more excited about our June boxes that are currently being packed and ready to ship out!
