I am a pumpkin junkie. There, I said it. When fall rolls around I become the biggest Basic Bitch there is. (there really is a Wiki page for everything huh?!) I pull out my boots, my fleece jacket, say words like foliage, and I consume everything pumpkin in my path. Trader Joe’s is my main dealer this time of year. These days it seems like everything they make comes in a pumpkin version and of course that now includes their cookie butter.
Now I’m not going to post the calorie or nutrition label because well that would be mean. Somethings just cannot be measured and the deliciousness of this
crack pumpkin pie spice cookie butter cannot be described and should not be weighed in calories or lack of nutritional value. I have come across a few blogs that have recipe suggestions for this delectable ingredient but I have the perfect use for this gem.
Step 1: Open jar
Step 2: Insert spoon
Step 3: Shovel into mouth.
Plain and simple. Yes, you could dip fruit in this, wrap it in crescent rolls, or use it in a pie but that’s just adding calories that you don’t want or need. This is the best and most responsible way to enjoy this treat. Trust me, I’m a basic bitch when it comes to pumpkin.
